Kira Stoll, Chief Sustainability & Carbon Solutions Officer for UC Berkeley, met with Congressman Lieu (D-CA) and staff for Senator Feinstein (D-CA) and Congresswoman Napolitano (D-CA) to discuss the importance of including public universities in any infrastructure proposal to combat climate change. The campus has the goal of decarbonizing campus energy by 2028 and will need significant public and private investment to reach the goal. This document describes our plans for a clean energy campus.
